Introducing our first combined photo shoot. Usually Lily is behind the lens, calling the shots and adding her creative comments (read: whinging for the shoot to end) - but this time I decided to pull her into frame for her first style shoot. 

Taking it back 1 year and 10 months ago when I found out I was pregnant, my initial thoughts were 1. YES OMG AMAZING! 2. Can't wait to co-ordinate outfits :P. So we did just that. Not perfectly matching, but complimentary. As much as I don't want to turn into a crazy pageant mom, I can see how it could be very easy to become one. It's so much fun putting together her outfits every morning and I'm sure once her hair gets long enough, I'll be braiding, plaiting, styling etc etc. I guess it's all about moderation.

Lastly (but not leastly) - how sweet are our backpacks? The lovely team at Herschel sent them over and I'm obsessed. We both head off to start our day with our printed backpacks. Mine with laptop, notes & headphones. Hers with diapers, spare socks and a pacifier. Priorities!
