october beauty favs
So I’m going to be completely honest with you.. I kinda skipped last month’s beauty favs as life got busy and I didn’t make enough time to do it. But hey.. let’s get real - I’m not going to have time to do this segment once the baby arrives so we’ll just have to rename it Sharday’s occasional beauty favs! Let’s get to it.. in no particular order:
(Pictured above) I’ve been using the Luna Mini 2 for a few months now and absolutely love the results I’m seeing. My skin is much less rough and bumpy, particularly on the forehead/nose/cheek area. I use it in the shower, once a day with my favourite cleanser from Erno Laszlo.
Erno Laszlo Multi-phase Makeup Remover
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect eye makeup remover and this is it! Doesn’t sting your eyes & takes off even the most dramatic of makeup. I use a small amount on a cotton pad before cleansing with my regular cleanser. The oil base solution is super gentle & doesn’t feel like it’s stripping away anything from your skin.
This is an old faithful that I’ve been using for 10-15 years. It’s from my homeland of Australia, and is always the first thing I stock up on when I visit back home. Ideal as a simple lip balm without tint or fragrance - but also can be used on cuts, insect bites and even nappy rash. This is literally the item you want in case you’re stuck on a desert island!
KMS Color Vitality Blonde Shampoo & Conditioner
There’s nothing worse than spending hundreds of dollars on colouring your hair and after a few weeks it turns a brassy yellow blonde. I’ve been using KMS for a few weeks now and I’m seriously impressed how my colour is holding up, without turning that dreaded blonde shampoo purple colour! It’s also super gentle & doesn’t dry out my hair.
J.Hannah Seven-Free Nailpolish in Chantrelle (from One of a Few)
This is hands down my favourite neutral, nude nail polish right now. It goes with every outfit and with a good top coat layered over it, can last easily up to a week. It’s also free from the 7 nasty chemicals.
