Hi. I'm Sharday.

Welcome to my site. It's here that I document all things related to style, beauty and my experiences as a mother.

I've been meaning to start this segment for quite a while now but have never had the time to properly sit down and do so. Well the time is NOW and I'm ending this month with some of my favourite August beauty products. The rules are simple and straight to the point - a 30-second elevator pitch on why I love this product and why you need it in your life. Kicking things off in no particular order:

La Mer - The Moisturizing Soft Lotion

(Pictured above) This moisturizer is perfect for both day and night. I first tried La Mer's products about three years ago via their cult classic 'Creme De La Mer'. To be honest, that cream was far to rich for my skin type but I'm so happy to have found this lighter yet super hydrating alternative. The pump bottle saves me a ton of time in the morning/night and makeup can be applied flawlessly on top.

Erno Laszlo - Multi task eye serum masks

This is the product that every working mama/busy lady needs in their life. A multi-task eye mask that you can just pop on before you get ready in the morning. Super easy to apply and they don't fall off. Great for dark circles and puffiness around the eye area. Store them in the fridge so they stay nice a cool when applying.

Yon-Ka - Aroma-Fusion Huile Silhouette Dry Body Oil

This is a new pregnancy product that I've added into my routine - a dry body oil by one of my long-term fav brands Yon-Ka. I apply this body oil after getting out of the shower as it's super convenient to spray onto the bump and legs etc. It has a nice neutral scent, nothing too perfumed or girly, and my skin feels super hydrated afterwards.

Clove + Hallow - Lip Velvet in Uptown

Moving onto a fun lip gloss from vegan, green beauty brand: Clove + Hallow. This Lip Velvet is just as it's named - super soft, goes on easy and is not too sticky. This colour is such a cute Fall shade and it's handy to have in your purse when you're looking for a little 'pick-me-up'! Keep your eyes on this brand as they are making some amazing developments in the clean beauty field!

REDAVID - Orchid Oil Shampoo & Conditioner

Last but not least, the Orchid Oil Shampoo & Conditioner from REDAVID. Based in Vancouver, all of their products are made in Canada and are cruelty-free, paraben-free, and sulfate-free. I've been using these products for a few months now and my hair feels insanely soft and hydrated after each wash. That fact was made even more obvious when I was using hotel branded shampoo & conditioner while visiting the States last month. Coming back to using this Shampoo & Conditioner was a dream!

That's all for this month but I would love to hear what you think about this new segment and shoot me an email or DM if you have any questions!
